Girls Who Code @ Rutgers University-Newark is a proud College Loop chapter under the national Girls Who Code organization. Our chapter is dedicated to building a supportive and inclusive community where students of all genders, majors, and backgrounds can come together to explore technology, share knowledge, and grow as leaders.
As part of the Girls Who Code College Loops network, we provide a space for university students interested in tech to support one another, persist through challenges, and succeed in their academic and professional journeys. We aim to bridge the gap between education and industry by fostering collaboration, hosting workshops, and creating opportunities for mentorship and career development.
Our mission is to empower the next generation of diverse technologists by promoting confidence, resilience, and creativity, while ensuring that everyone has a voice in shaping the future of technology.
College Loops connect students interested in tech, building a supportive community that helps them persist and succeed in the field.
College Loops facilitate on-campus leadership and are led by passionate students who are committed to reaching gender parity in tech.
College Loops provide college-aged students with exclusive opportunities to connect and build relationships with industry professionals and Girls Who Code corporate partners.
Join the Girls Who Code College Loop to connect with students who are passionate about technology, innovation, and equity. Gain real-world skills, industry insight, and lifelong connections—all while making tech more inclusive.
