Girls Who Code @ Rutgers University-Newark is a student-led community dedicated to supporting women and non-binary students in technology while welcoming individuals of all genders and majors. Our mission is to create a welcoming space where members can grow their coding skills, gain professional development, and build lifelong connections.

Through coding workshops, speaker events, networking opportunities, and collaborations with campus partners, we empower students to explore computer science, data science, and related fields while breaking down barriers in technology. Whether you’re a beginner curious about coding or an experienced programmer looking for community, Girls Who Code is here to help you learn, lead, and thrive.
