About Us
The Indian Students Association at Rutgers University - Newark is a student organization on campus working towards propagating the culture, traditions, and arts of India. We are comprised of a group of people working towards a common goal - to promote Indian culture and diversity at and outside Rutgers, and to provide a platform for interaction between students of similar ethnic backgrounds. It enables students and faculty, both of Indian origin and interested non-Indian folks to enjoy, appreciate, and be a part of our rich & colorful heritage. MISSION STATEMENT Indian Students Association’s goal is to promote Indian culture and tradition on this highly diverse campus through various cultural activities, events, awareness programs, and funding opportunities.
