The Rutgers University–Newark Bachata Club is a student-run cultural, artistic, and social organization dedicated to celebrating, teaching, and expanding appreciation for Bachata as both a dance and a cultural expression. Rooted in identity, history, and connection, our mission is to create an inclusive space where students of all backgrounds and experience levels can explore Bachata through movement, creativity, and shared learning. By fostering confidence, self-expression, and joy, the club seeks to build meaningful relationships while promoting personal growth and wellness within the campus community.
