About Us
Sino typically implies Chinese or Chinese-affiliated. In that same spirit, we are calling our organization Sino Undergraduate Student Association to highlight historically Chinese-influenced cultures. This is not limited to just East Asia, but also Southeast Asian countries that may fit this criteria. The SUSA shall exist for the following purposes: 1. To help the Southeast and East Asian student diaspora with their living and academic adjustments; 2. To arrange events that promote cultural diversity in the Rutgers Newark community through showcasing East Asian culture; and 3. To strengthen contact and to promote friendship among its members. We hope that every student will come join as we host cool game events, celebrate national holidays, or just hang out to talk and eat!
